Nikuzen Yakiniku

"We came during their soft launch and were presented with a fixed set menu which is slightly different to the normal menu. The manager did explain when they fully launched there will be three different sets ranging in price from around 1 million rupiah to 2 million plus. Our set menu is around 9 courses, except for the salad, soup, noodles and shaved ice, all the other dishes revolve around different cuts of beef. All the meat cuts are excellent, there is none of them that are dry or tough. Although each customer will only get 1 piece of meat in each course, you still get quite full by the end of it. This is because the service is taking it slow by cooking and explaining to you the cuts and how to eat them. Not suitable for kids unless you are planning to include them in the set menu and there are no a la carte menu for now. Food - 10 Service - 10 Vibe - 9 Price - $$$$"

"I dined at Nikuzen for the first time last week on Christmas day after passing the restaurant many times on the way to Pizza 4Ps. The restaurant was relatively quiet considering it was a public holiday. The ambience at the restaurant was very peaceful and quiet. It was so quiet that I noticed there was no music playing at all We ordered the truffle course which was delicious, but nothing out of this world. Honestly, I had higher expectations which were not met during this dining experience. Overall, each of the cuts served was good, but I just expected better from a restaurant that's affiliated with Yoroniku. Especially in comparison to other new yakiniku places like Jumbo/ Great, this place is b aja ngl The dessert that was served with our meal was kakigori and we had 3 flavour options. The dessert was a bit underwhelming, but i understand its complimentary sooo ~ The service was good but food was served very very quickly with barely any time to breathe between courses. All the wait staff were friendly and helpful. Note that there are no restrooms inside the restaurant - you have to use the public ones that are shared by all the restos on this floor. Would i come back here again? Even though the food and prices are reasonable considering the quality, and the location is pretty strategic, the overall experience just didnt stand out to me. There are several other competitors serving similar menus that i would rather dine at"

"20/10 experience. Perfect location, perfect food. Best Japanese Wagyu Omakase in Indonesia. 100% legit similar to Yoroniku Japan, guys (even the Kakigori dessert is similar, I order 4 ) . Price is affordable as well. Also, my tip for beef omakase is to have your salad together with every beef course to cleanse the palate.
